Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession, in which chiropractors are able to diagnose and treat conditions which relate to the spine, ligaments, tendons, nerves  and muscles.

 

You do not need to be referred from your doctor to see a chiropractor, however your chiropractor may refer you to your doctor or to another healthcare professional if they believe you need to be seen by someone else.
